We re working with a well-established firm in the South East that is looking for a capable Accounting Technician to join their growing team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you ll work with a diverse client base across accounting, tax, and VAT, while also developing your mentoring and technical skills. Role responsibilities: Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and tax returns for individuals and businesses Assisting with VAT compliance and advising clients on relevant issues Managing your own portfolio and building strong client relationships Coaching and supporting junior team members Developing your skills in cloud accounting platforms, including Xero What we re looking for: AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified Strong experience in accounts preparation within practice Solid understanding of UK tax compliance Organised, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines Comfortable using Excel, Word, and cloud-based tools What s in it for you: Ongoing training and development through internal and external CPD Opportunities to grow within a progressive and team-focused environment Flexibility to work from Eastbourne or Hove office Competitive salary, dependent on qualifications and experience
