Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Barking HybridLocation: Barking and Dagenham (Hybrid with onsite visits) Rate: PO2 grade (competitive) Hours: 35 per week (Mon-Fri) Contract: 12-month assignment Caseload: Children (Paediatric)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join the Enabling Independence Team in Barking and Dagenham. This role focuses on supporting children and families through functional assessments, equipment provision, and adaptations to promote independence and improve quality of life.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete paediatric OT assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.Recommend and arrange adaptations, assistive technology, and specialist equipment.Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, schools, and families.Ensure compliance with statutory frameworks and maintain accurate case records.Essential RequirementsDegree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.Relevant experience in social services and paediatric OT practice.Strong knowledge of housing adaptations, moving and handling, and risk assessments.Working ArrangementsHybrid model: office-based and home working with onsite visits.IT equipment provided (collection from Barking Town Hall required).For more information on this role or for a discussion about Occupational Health opportunities across England and Wales please contact Gemma at Caritas Recruitment - (url removed) / (phone number removed)Caritas Recruitment is acting as an Employment
