Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong credit control, accounts receivable, or finance administration experience, ideally with knowledge of Sage accounting software.

 

Job Description – Credit Controller
As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring timely payments and maintaining healthy cash flow. This is a full-time, office-based role with regular Monday to Friday hours (9am–5pm).

Duties include:

• Managing customer accounts and chasing outstanding debts
  
  
• Processing and reconciling accounts using Sage
  
  
• Contacting clients by phone and email to recover overdue payments
  
  
• Maintaining accurate financial records and producing credit reports
  
  
• Supporting the wider finance team with month-end processes
  
  

• Previous experience in credit control / accounts receivable / collections
  
  
• Strong working knowledge of Sage software
  
  
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  
  
• High attention to detail with ability to prioritise workload
  
  
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  
  

• £13.00 per hour pay rate
  
  
• Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (no weekends)
  
  
• Temp to Perm position 
  
  
• Work within a supportive finance team in a global business
