Housing Repairs Co-Ordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Housing Repairs Coordinator to oversee the scheduling and management of repairs across our housing stock. You will be responsible for ensuring that repair requests are handled efficiently, resources are allocated effectively, and tenants are kept fully informed throughout the process. This is a crucial role within the Responsive Repairs Team, requiring strong coordination skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Role Schedule and allocate repairs to operatives and contractors, ensuring resources are used efficiently and works are completed right the first time. Monitor and track progress of repairs throughout the day, liaising with operatives, surveyors, and tenants to ensure timely completion. Provide outstanding customer service, responding to tenant and stakeholder enquiries in a professional and timely manner. Update internal systems with accurate and up-to-date information on repair statuses, ensuring all records are well maintained. Work closely with contractors to ensure repairs are carried out to a high standard and within agreed timescales. Identify and escalate health and safety concerns related to repair works as needed. Communicate effectively with tenants regarding any changes or delays to scheduled repairs, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
