Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Dudley, who are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in engineering maintenance, looking for a stable role with day shifts and a competitive salary.

The Role:

- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Fault-finding and repairs on power presses, motors, and conveyors.
- Performing Mig and Tig welding where required.
- Supporting production teams to minimise downtime.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and ensuring machinery is running efficiently.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with power presses, motors, and conveyor systems.
- Working knowledge of Mig and Tig welding techniques.
- A relevant engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship.
- A proactive and safety-conscious approach.

Salary and Benefits:

- £35,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
- Permanent, full-time role
