Here at Academics, we are proud to be working with this fantastic primary school in Westminster, which is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive and resilient Year 6 Teacher.
This is a well-established primary school with a strong and visible senior leadership team. The school has a clear vision centred around high expectations, inclusion and pupil wellbeing. Staff are supported through collaborative planning, consistent behaviour policies and ongoing CPD opportunities.
The school is particularly keen to appoint a teacher with strong Upper KS2 knowledge and confidence in preparing pupils for SATs, as well as ensuring a smooth transition to secondary school. Experience supporting pupils with varying needs, including those who may present behavioural challenges, is essential. The successful candidate will be able to establish clear expectations, build positive relationships and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that drive attainment and progress.
The successful candidate will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across core subjects, particularly in SATs preparation
* Confidently manage behaviour and maintain a positive, focused learning environment
* Build positive and professional relationships with parents and carers
* Maintain high expectations for both behaviour and academic achievement
The school welcomes applications from experienced teachers across the M3 to M5 pay scale. There may also be opportunities for experienced teachers to take on additional responsibilities, depending on experience and interest.
