Position : Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance TechnicianShifts : Days onlyHours : 47.5 per weekBias : Electrical or multi-skilledLocation : SouthamptonEnvironment : ManufacturingSalary : 42,500 to 45,000 according to experienceAbout the role of a Maintenance Engineer / Technician in a Manufacturing Plant in Southampton :Maintain, service and repair all production equipment on siteAssist with the maintenance of all ancillary equipment / facilities across the site.Develop, implement, and adhere to a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule.Respond to equipment breakdowns and call-outs, recording and reporting on faults to identify trendsCarry out general site maintenance and engineering projects as requiredSupport continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives where requiredEnsure full compliance health and safety requirements, and with internal and external quality standards.About YouHolds a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671).Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environmentStrong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.A knowledge of PLC systems and control panels is preferredFull UK driving licence and own transport Working hours are days only Monday to FridayKey Words : Maintenance Engineer, Southampton About UsWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
