The Role of a Lamination Operator As a Lamination Operative, you ll be responsible for operating conversion machinery to produce laminated reels safely, efficiently, and in line with specifications. Key Responsibilities of a Lamination Operator: Select films, materials, and operating supplies according to job specifications. Set up and operate lamination machinery safely and efficiently. Conduct in-process checks to ensure product quality and accuracy. Unload, record, palletise, and package finished products as required. Complete accurate production records in Mills/S4 systems. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment. Monitor machine operation, identify and resolve issues promptly. Report maintenance needs to prevent breakdowns. Rework non-conforming products where necessary. Manage waste, recycling, and housekeeping duties to site standards. Update daily management boards and support continuous improvement.
