About the Role
We are looking for a
Senior People Operations Specialist
to join our People team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional employee experiences across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding, and driving scalable People Ops processes that support our global team. You’ll serve as the first point of escalation for employee inquiries, partner cross-functionally with teams like our HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Finance and IT teams, and continuously improve the systems and workflows that power People Operations at Vercel.You will report to the Head of People Operations and be part of an established global team. This role is located in London, United Kingdom, and includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, so that we can support our employees in-person, or “IRL” as we call it.What You Will Do
Serve as the first escalation point for employee and manager HR-related queries, delivering timely and accurate resolution with empathy and clarityManage and continuously improve onboarding, offboarding, and related People Ops workflows for our employees outside the USOversee day-to-day vendor relationships with global EOR and benefits providers across 25+ countriesMaintain and evolve documentation for key People Ops processes, policies, and standard operating proceduresSupport internal projects to enhance systems, tools, and operational efficiency within the People functionPartner with HRBPs and business leaders to execute employee lifecycle changes and ensure data integrity in core HR systemsPartner with our Legal team to ensure compliance activities related to local labor regulations and internal policy updatesAct as liaison to the Workplace team, ensuring seamless coordination and onsite support for employees and office operationsPartner with the payroll team on non-US leave management and assist with the accurate and timely closure of monthly payrollWhat exceptional looks like on the People Team

5+ years of HR Operations experience with a focus on employee lifecycle management, HR systems, and vendor coordinationAre passionate about crafting exceptional employee experiences through thoughtful processesDeep understanding of EMEA employment policies and practices, and knowledge about APAC is a plusExperience working with global teams and collaborating across time zonesExperience working with EOR providers and benefits vendors across multiple EMEA and APAC countriesDemonstrated ability to manage escalations, navigate complexity, and deliver solutions that scaleHigh integrity and discretion when dealing with sensitive employee data and situationsObsessive over the details and have expertise in developing internal documentation or process guidesHave contributed to building or improving internal knowledge systems or employee-facing support contentCompetitive compensation package, including equityLearn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skillsFlexible Time OffWe will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as neededVercel is committed to fostering and empowering an inclusive community within our organization.
