A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Muswell Hill is seeking a dedicated HLTA or Unqualified Teacher to join their supportive team from September 2026 on a 1-year fixed term contract.

This varied role combines whole-class cover teaching with behaviour, pastoral, and wellbeing support across the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and an inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across the primary phase
• Support pupils with behaviour, wellbeing, SEND, and SEMH needs
• Lead targeted interventions and restorative behaviour support
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Promote a calm, consistent, and nurturing school environment

The ideal candidate will have

• HLTA status or relevant classroom experience
• Strong behaviour management and classroom practice
• Confidence delivering lessons to whole classes
• Knowledge of restorative and de-escalation approaches
• A calm, resilient, and child-centred approach
