You will be working with pupils aged 11-16 who need consistent, compassionate support to succeed in their education.About the RoleThis is a hands-on, rewarding role where you''ll work closely with students who may struggle to engage with learning due to behavioural or emotional challenges. You''ll be part of a supportive team helping to create a safe, structured environment where pupils can build trust, develop resilience, and grow in confidence.What You''ll Be DoingSupporting students with SEMH needs and behavioural difficulties, both in and out of the classroomBuilding strong, positive relationships with pupils to help them feel safe and understoodHelping students regulate emotions and develop coping strategiesWorking alongside teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour support plansUsing a trauma-informed approach to de-escalate challenging situationsSupporting outreach activities and off-site learning when neededWho We''re Looking ForYou don''t need to be a qualified teacher, but you do need to be someone who''s:Experienced in working with children
