Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and cook meals in line with school menus and dietary requirements.

• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times.

• Manage food storage, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation.

• Supervise and work alongside kitchen assistants to ensure smooth service.

• Ensure meals are delivered on time to fit around the school day.

• Adapt menus to cater for allergies, intolerances, and special dietary needs.

About You

• Previous professional experience as a Chef is essential (school or catering environment desirable).

• Up-to-date Food Hygiene qualification.

• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practice.

• Organised, efficient, and able to work under pressure.

• A team player with good communication and leadership skills.
