The team focuses on practical learning, life skills, and confidence building - ensuring every student is supported to achieve their goals both in education and beyond.The Role: As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will:Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Maths and English Functional Skills (Entry Level to Level 2).Embed employability and life skills into lessons to help students gain confidence in real-world contexts.Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs and styles.Mark work, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback.Work closely with support staff to create an engaging and inclusive classroom experience.Requirements:Proven experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and English, ideally within a post-16 or SEND setting.A passion for supporting students with diverse needs and helping them prepare for adulthood and employment.Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.An Enhanced DBS on the update service
