You''ll use your current experience to Design PLC HMI control software for factory automation projects in manufacturing, food, beverage industries, working with Lead Engineers, then in future progressing to your own projects and commissioning those PLC HMI Systems solutions on UK customer sites. Experience of PLC programming = essential. Ideally Allen Bradley / Rockwell automation PLC software, controllogix, micrologix, 5000 studio etc, but could be Siemens S7 TIA Portal, maybe Omron, Mitsubishi or any PLC- but Allen Bradley is the main one here. Electrical background so that you can understand drives, conveyor systems, packaging automation, electrical control aspects.
