ALink Recruitment are working with an engineering consultancy who are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide technical support on an ad-hoc basis during periods of increased workload across our rail projects. This flexible role is ideal for a capable and self-sufficient engineer who can quickly integrate into project teams and deliver high-quality engineering solutions with minimal supervision. You will support the development and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across a variety of rail infrastructure projects, from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and construction. Working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to major rail projects throughout the UK while maintaining a strong focus on technical excellence, client satisfaction and efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities Interpret and implement client specifications, standards and requirements within engineering designs and solutions. Deliver electrical engineering design activities on rail and related infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Undertake technical work in accordance with company quality, safety and project management procedures. Produce calculations, technical reports, specifications, schedules and design drawings.
