The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the design and evaluation of embedded systems, firmware, and software components related to kitchen appliances. The role requires technical expertise and leadership, including task allocation, supervision, and mentoring.Responsibilities include:

Overseeing the design, development, and evaluation of embedded systems, firmware, and software, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, schedule, and customer requirements.Allocating tasks, supervising, mentoring, and supporting team members; creating and maintaining project plans.Applying technical knowledge to resolve design issues and coordinate development with internal and external contacts.Managing team activities, including holiday approvals, performance reviews, training, and employee relations.Ensuring technical documentation is completed accurately and on schedule.Driving innovation in RandD processes and systems for product improvement.Leading meetings, preparing reports, and contributing to strategic discussions.Supporting business planning, resource allocation, and budget management.Evaluating designs, participating in peer reviews, and addressing historic issues to improve future designs.Managing project estimates, risks, and stakeholder communication.Requirements:

Degree in Engineering or related discipline plus 5 years of relevant experience, or 10+ years in a similar role.Experience managing teams and developing embedded systems.Strong project management skills and a quality-focused mindset.Desirable Skills:

Extensive experience in embedded system design, software development, and product evaluation.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, project management tools, and agile methodologies.Proficiency in CAD, simulation tools, and technical documentation.What We Offer:
