An established and fast-growing freight forwarder is seeking an experienced Air Freight Business Development Manager to join their commercial team.The successful candidate will be managing significant monthly volumes, the business has built a strong reputation across multiple verticals including perishables, e-commerce, and general cargo.This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing environment with strong operational support.Duties and responsibilities of a Air Freight Business Development Manager:Identify, develop, and secure new air freight business across a range of verticalsManage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to onboardingBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, leveraging existing industry contactsWork closely with internal operational teams to ensure seamless service deliveryPromote a range of services including time-critical, e-commerce, and general cargo solutionsMaintain a self-sufficient approach to business development, with minimal reliance on internal leadsThe successful candidate:Proven track record in air freight business developmentStrong industry network and ability to generate new business independentlyCommercially driven with a proactive and self-managing approachExperience across one or more verticals (e.g. perishables, e-commerce, general cargo)High level of professionalism and ability to operate within a lean, fast-paced environmentBenefits of Air Freight Business Development Manager:Basic salary: £50,000 - £10
