The role of Assistant Land and Planning Manager will support the projects team in the allocation or planning consent of land adding value to the company''s existing land/property portfolio. ABOUT THE ROLE As our Assistant Land and Planning Manager you will: Support, manage and implement strategies to safeguard the interests of the company to ensure deliverability and contractual compliance. Undertake financial assessments to inform site viability and business reporting. Keep your line manager regularly updated on progress, budget movements highlighting risks to the business. Act with an integral approach to localism and public engagement in the promotion of land. Represent Wates Developments within integrity both internally and externally when promoting land or securing planning consents. ABOUT YOU Knowledge of the UK residential planning system. Knowledge of residential development market. Knowledge of residential appraisal systems. Basic knowledge of legal contracts.
