Our client is a fast-growing Mechanical Contractor that Manufacture and Install specialist products for a range of highly regulated projects, including Nuclear and Rail and are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee operations within a busy production facility.Who This Job Would Suit This position would suit a hands-on, results-driven professional with strong leadership and communication skills. Ideal candidates will have experience managing production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, be committed to maintaining safety and quality standards, and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving and team development.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets safely and efficiently.Drive continuous improvement in quality, cost control, and productivity.Promote and enforce a strong health and safety culture across all production areas.Manage and develop a skilled, motivated, and flexible production workforce including 3 x direct reports and 20 x indirect.Analyse performance data to identify and implement improvement opportunities.Skills and Experience:Proven experience in Production / Manufacturing Management within a Welding / Fabrication environment.Strong leadership qualities.HNC or equivalent in Engineering / Manufacturing discipline is preferred.
