Product Mechanical Engineer required for up to 18 months, you will work with a team of Mechanical Engineers and Technicians, Product Management, Quality and Operations to re-engineer and re-qualify single-use consumables. Responsibilities: Coordinate product engineering activities related to requalification of injection moulded plastic devices Perform root-cause analyses and establishing FMEA''s of injection molded components Define product qualification protocols and acceptance criteria for functional tests Coordinate and carry out validation test protocols with stakeholders Work closely with OPS and tool shop, follow-up on qualification activities for replacement injection molds (IQ, OQ, PQ) of existing parts Set up quality control processes, measurement instructions etc. Support execution of Engineering Change Requests Person Specification: Preferred qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related field Previous experience in design, construction and injection molding of disposable plastic devices preferred Previous experience in project management and coordination of tasks Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Creo Basic proficiency in SAP Prepared to learn new skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proactive mindset and problem-solving toolset Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
