The Production Planner sits at the heart of the operation, coordinating between suppliers, production, logistics, and more, ensuring smooth day-to-day planning and delivery of high-quality products to major customers. Key Responsibilities for the Production Planner: Develop and maintain accurate production plans to maximize efficiency while meeting customer demand. Ensure plans account for material availability, labour, and production capacity. Process customer orders, update production schedules, and communicate changes to internal teams and third parties. Liaise with hauliers to ensure timely delivery and collection, optimizing vehicle scheduling for cost-effectiveness. Track performance against the production plan and address any discrepancies. Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
