Site Security Manager

Salary up to £65,000 + Car Allow. + Bonus + Ex. BensWe’re seeking a proactive, people-focused Site Security Manager to lead security operations at our client’s busy site. This role goes beyond safeguarding facilities, it’s about building a culture of safety, inclusion, and trust. You’ll act as the key point of contact for all on-site security matters. Day-to-day, you’ll oversee operations, support a small team of contracted officers, and manage systems. Working closely with UK and European colleagues, you’ll help protect people, assets, and the employee community.Responsibilities
Oversee Daily Security Operations – Manage the day-to-day security of a busy dual-site facility, ensuring a safe and professional environment.Lead and Support Security Staff – Supervise a small team of contracted security personnel, providing guidance and ensuring service standards are met.Manage Access Control and CCTV – Oversee badge systems (TDSI) and CCTV (Honeywell MaxPro), ensuring effective monitoring and data compliance.Handle Incidents and Investigations – Respond to security incidents, lead investigations, and produce clear, detailed reports.Ensure Legal and Policy Compliance – Maintain compliance with UK security laws, GDPR, and internal company standards, including risk assessments (DPIAs/LIAs).Improve Site Security Measures – Identify and implement enhancements in systems, procedures, and emergency response protocols.Liaise with External Partners – Build strong relationships with local authorities, emergency services, and external contractors.Support Strategic Planning – Work with UK and European teams to align local practices with broader security strategy and support budgeting.Requirements
