Children''s Social Worker - Assessment and Intervention 39.04Location: Perceval House, Ealing Rate: 39.04 per hour (London Pledge capped rate) Hours: 35 per week (no compressed hours) Contract: 3-month rolling assignment Caseload: ChildrenAbout the RoleJoin Ealing''s Assessment and Intervention Team as an experienced Children''s Social Worker. This is a frontline statutory role managing referrals, assessments, and safeguarding interventions for children and families. You will work in a fast-paced environment, making timely decisions to protect children and achieve positive outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete referrals and assessments under the Children Act 1989.Undertake Section 47 enquiries, Child Protection investigations, and Child in Need planning.Prepare and present court reports, statements, and care plans.Manage complex caseloads within statutory timescales.Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children.Essential RequirementsQualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.Proven frontline experience in referral and assessment.Strong court work experience and analytical skills.Knowledge of PLO, safeguarding thresholds, and statutory guidance.Working ArrangementsHybrid model: office-based and remote working (not likely to change).Equipment provided (collection from Perceval House required).For more information on this role or for a discussion about Social Work opportunities across England and Wales please contact Gemma at Caritas R
