Civil Engineer

to support the

Detailed Design

phase of multiple projects on major UK

water frameworks

.About the Role:

Provide

civil design deliverables

that meet safety, quality, and technical requirementsProduce

civil design calculations, drawings

, and specifications for the

UK water industryDirect and support CAD technicians and junior civil designersPrepare scopes of work and review output from subcontract MandE and civil design teamsLiaise with suppliers and other disciplines, prepare

civil engineering specifications

, and review technical submissionsUndertake site investigations and assessments to inform design developmentEnsure civil design work complies with relevant technical standards and industry codes (e.g., Eurocodes, CIRIA, CDM Regulations)Manage and document any design changes throughout the project lifecycleEstimate design hours and resource requirements for civil packagesAttend and contribute to project meetings and design reviews as neededAbout You:

Degree, HND or equivalent experience in

Civil EngineeringMinimum of 5 years’

civil design experience in the UK water sectorProficient with civil engineering design software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, Revit)Experience with clean water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projectsStrong technical knowledge in

earthworks, pipework layouts, concrete structures, foundations, and temporary worksChartered or working towards chartership (e.g., with ICE)Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skillsResults-driven with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous professional developmentReach out to
