Interaction Recruitment is looking for a Nursey Nurse to work at warm and welcoming nurseries across Portsmouth dedicated to providing high-quality care and early education to children to a number of settings. The Nursey Nurse should believe in fostering a nurturing, engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join their team and contribute to creating a positive and stimulating environment for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

Support children in a setting in their learning and development activities, ensuring a high standard of care is provided.

Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Observe and assess children’s progress and maintain accurate records.

Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Ensure that safeguarding and health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.

Help create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where children can learn and play.

Support the nursery in meeting its statutory obligations, including those related to OFSTED.

Qualifications & Experience:

Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).

Experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting is preferred.

DBS on the update service or willing to do a new one

Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

A positive, proactive approach with a passion for working with children.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
