Job Description:
anduuml;andnbsp; Provideandnbsp;targeted supportandnbsp;to pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social needs, both in and out of the classroom
anduuml;andnbsp; Work closely with theandnbsp;SENCO,andnbsp;pastoral team, and class teachers to implementandnbsp;individual behaviour plans
anduuml;andnbsp; Useandnbsp;positive behaviour management strategiesandnbsp;to promote engagement and reduce barriers to learning
anduuml;andnbsp; Buildandnbsp;trusting relationshipsandnbsp;with pupils to support theirandnbsp;emotional regulationandnbsp;andandnbsp;self-esteem
anduuml;andnbsp; Support the delivery ofandnbsp;intervention programmes,andnbsp;mentoring, andandnbsp;restorative practices
anduuml;andnbsp; Contribute to aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;inclusive, andandnbsp;supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
anduuml;andnbsp; Have experience working with children or young people withandnbsp;challenging behaviourandnbsp;orandnbsp;additional needs (desirable but not essential)
anduuml;andnbsp; Beandnbsp;empathetic,andnbsp;patient, and able to remainandnbsp;calm under pressure
anduuml;andnbsp; Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;inclusion, andandnbsp;child-centred practice
anduuml;andnbsp; Possessandnbsp;strong communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;interpersonal skills
anduuml;andnbsp; Be confident working independently and as part of aandnbsp;multi-disciplinary team
anduuml;andnbsp; Hold or be willing to obtain anandnbsp;enhanced DBS check
andnbsp;
