About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer with around two years of industry experience to join a growing consultancy in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to develop their career while working on a variety of residential and commercial building projects, ranging from small-scale developments to larger multi-storey schemes.

You will work closely with senior engineers and project teams, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of the design process, from concept design through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural elements for residential and commercial developments.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
• Support senior engineers in delivering projects from concept through to detailed design.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants.
• Attend site visits and assist with inspections when required.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant UK codes and industry standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Approximately 2 years'' experience in a structural engineering consultancy.
• Experience working on residential and/or commercial building structures.
• Familiarity with structural design software and AutoCAD/Revit is desirable.
• Understanding of UK design standards (Eurocodes and British Standards).
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.
