Overview

Our client is a respected name in the construction industry, delivering high-quality projects with a focus on safety, compliance, and excellence. They are now seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead on project cost management and support the continued growth of their business. Candidates with fire protection or fire safety experience will be at an advantage, though this is not essential.Responsibilities

Leading the commercial management of multiple projects from tender to final accountPreparing and managing budgets, cost plans, valuations, and forecastsOverseeing subcontractor procurement, contracts, accounts, and paymentsManaging variations, claims, and change control processesPreparing and presenting detailed commercial reports to senior managementMentoring and supporting junior team members where requiredEnsuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specificationQualifications

Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor, with experience at a senior levelStrong knowledge of cost control, estimating, and contract administrationExcellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skillsFire protection/fire safety experience is highly advantageousAbility to lead commercially on complex projectsStrong communication and leadership skillsProficiency with relevant software (e.g. Excel, estimating tools)What’s on Offer
