As a specialist recruitment consultant working closely with a well-established planning consultancy, I''m currently supporting the search for a Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in Milton Keynes.

The Role

You''ll play a key role in delivering high-quality planning advice across a broad range of developments, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes. The position offers a strong balance of technical work, client interaction, and mentoring of junior team members.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and delivering planning applications from inception through to determination
• Providing strategic planning advice to clients and stakeholders
• Preparing planning statements, appeals, and supporting documentation
• Leading client meetings and liaising with local authorities
• Supporting and mentoring junior planners within the team

About You

I''m keen to speak with planners who have:

• A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
• MRTPI (or working towards chartered status with significant experience)
• Strong experience within a consultancy or local authority environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The confidence to manage projects and build client relationships
