The successful candidate will be responsible for providing classroom support and supervision in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a seamless learning experience for students. Key Responsibilities: Supervising classes and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher Following lesson plans and instructions provided by the absent teacher or the school leadership team Assisting students with their work and answering questions to support their learning Managing student behaviour and ensuring compliance with the school''s policies and procedures Collecting and distributing learning materials and resources as needed Liaising with other staff members and reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel Maintaining accurate records of attendance and student progress during covered lessons The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes: Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage classroom dynamics effectively Proficiency in various subject areas and a passion for fostering student learning Excellent organisational and time-management skills Familiarity with classroom technology and educational resources
