Role - Transport Planner Pay - 28,500 per annum, 14.61ph Location- TATA Steel, Shotton Works, Shotton Records Centre, Deeside CH5 2NH (100% office based initially then Tue/Wed/Fri office based and Mon/Fri remote) Shift pattern- Mon-Thu 08:30-17:00 and Fri 08:30-16:00, 37.5 hours per week Duration- 6 months initially with the view to extend Start - ASAP (1-2 weeks) but pending the result of a medical Responsibilities: Using SAP, Stratix and Microsoft 365 to pre plan shipments (where possible) Arranging logistics and shipping including the packing of products Expediting and rerouting where necessary and providing proof of delivery to customers effectively Monitoring agreed costs against supplier invoices Resolving invoice queries promptly and effectively Using the planning tools and software systems accurately Closely working with stakeholders to maintain and exceed service standards Identifying failure against plan and deliveries and recommending resolutions accordingly Identifying potential peaks in customer demand and proposing corrective actions accordingly Liaising with 3rd party container logistics and shipping lines Supporting the Customer Service and Commercial team functions to ensure product availability and delivery Confirming that all transport activities are undertaken effectively including those delivered by third party providers
