Quantity Surveyor - Must Have Experience In The Rail Industry- Up to £410 p/d (Inside IR35) - Birmingham City Centre (Hybrid, 3 Days in Office), Initial 6 Month Contract. We have an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to be part of the asset protection and optimisation team for a multi-disciplinary consultancy firm. The role will lead to further opportunities in the rail industry.Key Responsibilities: Provide specialist commercial advice, guidance, and recommendations to mitigate risks.Support procurement activities, from estimation to contract closure.Conduct commercial health checks and support customer meetings.Manage the invoice and credit note process.Oversee the minor authority process and manage project close-out effectively.Ensure financial integrity and accurate data collection for Project Leads. Essential Skills and Experience: Experience in a generalist commercial environment AND/OR degree in a related field.Ability to work on own initiative and provide solutions over problems in a professional working environment.Effective negotiation skills and industry awareness.
