OverviewPlease refer to the attached job description. The post holder will work with flexible and fixed sessions and may be required to work on a Saturday. The post involves seeing new patients, following up outpatients, and operating on patients from the waiting list. The appointee will have access to secretarial support and office facilities.

Responsibilities

See new patients and follow up outpatients while maintaining appropriate new-to-follow-up ratios.

Operate on patients from own and pooled waiting lists.

Work at any facility that the trust owns, leases or manages as required.

Attend annual job planning reviews as part of the local Job Planning Document.

Record and manage activity within the service and collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality care.
