Title: Mechanical AssemblerLocation: St Helens, Merseyside (WA10 1HF)Salary: 26,000- 35,000 (DOE)Shifts: Monday- Thursday 08:00- 16:30 and Fridays 08:00- 13:00Contract Type: PermanentWe are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a well-established company, who are market leaders in designing, manufacturing and fitting specialist pressure valves and gauges for the Oil, Gas industries.As a Mechanical Assembler your duties will be: -" Conduct maintenance, servicing and assembly of relief valves." Deburring and cleaning the relief valves." Testing, calibrating and painting components." Attend customer sites to conduct annual services/replace old components." Maintain accurate records, ensuring all work meets compliance and safety standards.The successful Mechanical Assembler will have the following skills: -" Some experience of working within a mechanical fitting/engineering role." Any experience working within the oil/gas/chemical industry would be advantageous." Strong attention to detail" Excellent communication skills with a professional customer approach." Ability to work independently and as part of a small team."
