Our client, a prominent player in the water infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a skilled Preconstruction Manager to join their team. This position is essential for overseeing activities during the pre-construction phase of infrastructure projects, acting as a bridge between the client, design team, and construction teams, this role ensures seamless project delivery from concept to construction start. Key Responsibilities:Lead the pre-construction process from concept to Notice to Proceed (construction Phase).Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, consultants, and internal stakeholders to develop project scope and objectives.Oversee early-stage feasibility studies and constructability reviews.Assist estimating team to manage and prepare detailed cost estimates at various design milestones.Develop and manage the pre-construction budget and ensure alignment with client expectations and funding availability.Lead value engineering efforts to optimize project scope and budget.Develop procurement strategies and lead subcontractor/supplier selection processes.Develop and maintain preliminary project schedules including design timelines, permitting, procurement, and construction milestones.Identify and manage critical path activities and project risks.Identify and mitigate pre-construction risks including environmental, permitting, geotechnical, and utility constraints.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
