Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Credit Analyst at Senior Analyst level within the Structured Credit team based out of our London office.

About The Team
Fitch’s European Structured Finance team maintains existing ratings and assigns ratings to new structured finance transactions.
We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst level Credit Analyst to join the European Structured Finance teamThe successful candidate will be part of a team of analysts rating transactions back by mortgage loans, consumer loans and/or corporate loan including leveraged loan CLOsThe team analyses transactions in line with Fitch’s rating criteria and provides high quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants
How You’ll Make An Impact
Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modellingReviewing transaction legal documentsOn-site review of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and CLO managersPreparing rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committeesCommunicating rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetingsCommunicating with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features of the transactionsAssist in the development of criteria and supporting research
You May Be a Good Fit If
This is a demanding and exciting role, so we are looking for highly motivated candidatesThe successful candidate should have some prior experience in financeKnowledge of securitisation structures and in particular CLOs would be beneficialCandidates will be highly numerate and analytical, with advanced Excel skillsThe role also involves analysis of legal transaction documents. While no legal background is required successful candidates should be able to review and analyse legal contracts from a credit risk perspective

A central element of the position is communicating your analysis, both internally and externally. Therefore, candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills in EnglishOther European languages are desirable
