Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer 40-45 + bonus, OTE Sales Engineer with experience selling into plant equipment construction or civils required for a growing manufacturer of prefab and portable housings in West Yorkshire. You will be responsible for developing new business through the full sales lifecycle, from initial enquiry and site visit through to quotation, negotiation, and project handover. The role:Research and develop a confident understanding of your target and competitor market and develop an effective sales strategy Undertake a range of sales activities to generate appointments and enquiries with new, existing and lapsed clients Visit customers to understand their requirement and provide a suitable solution and build long term relationshipsProduce and follow up competitive quotations To develop a full sales strategyLead generation for new business and follow throughIdentify customers'' needs and requirements Plan and attend calls, meetings, events, exhibitions, presentations and demonstrationsEnsure you are kept up to date with the products and the market you are working inReport and feedback results to managementMaintain, update and quantify client database The person A proven sales background, preferably in construction, civils projects, plant equipment, portable housing or similarEngineering or construction knowledge with the ability to read and interpret drawingsExcellent experience of researching and developing new leads, targets markets and business Be familiar with the ful
