Mechanical InspectorOverview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our team, ensuring product quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves certifying products, conducting detailed inspections, and maintaining rigorous documentation standards.Key Responsibilities:Certify products in line with established proceduresInspect assemblies, finishes, and surfaces for defects or damagePerform intermediate inspection checks and monitor certification operatorsComplete and maintain manufacturing data packs and defect reportsUse and care for specialised inspection toolsEnsure compliance with all manufacturing and quality proceduresContribute to continuous process improvementEssential Skills and Experience:Completed a formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3, TR23/TR21, or HNC)Several years'' experience in mechanical inspection, including inspecting others'' workStrong understanding of quality standards and documentationIPC 610 certification/training preferredCarbon60, Lorien and SRG - The Impellam Group STEM Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
