Reporting to the Head of Projects you will be responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines required to complete projects. The successful candidate will have worked as a Project Design Engineer for an extensive period of time and will be well versed in the world of manufacturing. The RoleThe Project Design Engineer will see through each project from the design stage to project completion covering the following areas. Understanding the concept of customers machinery requirements to produce technical drawings in both 2D and 3DUndertake other drawing work for the engineering department.To use Solidworks and AutoCAD as the main design platformsFull engineering integration of the business''s in-house products such as conveyors, structures and ancillary products.To ensure design, quality, costings and time-scales are considered and adhered to throughout the project.To work closely with other company departments including manufacturing, engineering and sales to ensure that designed products meet the requirements of the business and customers.Be hands on proactive and own the development of the project from the initial design concept stage right through to manufacturing, testing and commissioningLiaise with customers to ensure stand
