Assistant Management Accountant Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire Hours: Full Time Permanent Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Salary: 30,000 - 32,000 per annum Job Description Our client, a well-established and family-owned organisation, is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance department. This role offers involvement in a variety of financial areas of the business and reports directly to the Management Accountant. Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Management Accountant Prepare and post monthly valuations for stock and other inventories. Post monthly accruals for payroll, packaging, fuel, and other expenses. Reconcile monthly fuel accounts and related fleet accruals. Assist in the preparation of departmental accounts, investigating and resolving any variances. Support the production of management accounts, including investigating variances and maintaining key files. Reconcile monthly data and sales analysis using Excel. Assist with the analysis of financial performance. Aid with purchase ledger postings and account maintenance. Maintain records to support annual audit and tax analysis requirements. Assist with year-end stocktaking as required. Support the posting of bank transactions. Key Skills of an Assistant Management Accountant Part-Qualified CIMA/ACCA or AAT Qualified would be desirable.
