Role Summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking Skilled Aircraft Fitters to join its production team at a major UK site. The role involves working on a range of aircraft projects, including military platforms, in a hands-on, technical capacity.

• Interpret engineering instructions and technical drawings
• Perform fitting tasks using hand and power tools (e.g., drilling, shimming, sealing)
• Certify completed work following training
• Work in confined spaces and at height as required

Qualifications:

• Completed apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
• NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC)

Experience:

• Previous experience in fitting or assembly roles
• Skilled in using hand tools
• Comfortable working in physically demanding environments

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment medical
• BPSS clearance required (processed by employer)
• Mandatory training provided prior to starting
