We are looking for passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Teachers to join the Starfyn Education Family in a long term, full time teaching role within a supportive and inclusive school setting.

One of our partner schools caters for pupils aged 3–11, including a specialist provision supporting children with additional needs such as Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Autism (ASD), and learning difficulties.

The Role
Employment Type – Permanent / Long Term
Days Required – Monday to Friday (Full Time)
Start Date – September

As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting pupils of all abilities, and creating a classroom environment where every child can succeed.

The Ideal Candidate will: 

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Have experience teaching within a primary or SEN setting (desirable but not essential)
• Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs
• Have strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Be confident in planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons
• Be able to adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with SEN, ASD, or additional needs
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Your Main Duties:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN
• Create a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and wider staff
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and reviews
• Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
