Are you a mechanical design technician, with experience designing in a manufacturing setting, looking to join a well-established company, which boasts well known clients like Muller and Nestle, that offers a profit related bonus and a path to technical lead?

This company was established three decades ago and since then has become a leading name in the conveyor and handling industry. The company primarily supply into the food and beverage industry, designing, manufacturing, and installing bespoke equipment.

In this role the suitable candidate will be expected to visit client sites to undertake initial inspections and gain an understanding of client''s needs. You will need to create drawings and models of the equipment and provide continuous support to the manufacturing and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role:

• 7:30 - 4 Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 3 Friday
• Visit client sites to conduct initial inspections
• Create drawings and models, using AutoCAD and Inventor, to design plans for projects
• Support the manufacturing and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure client needs are met
• Work in a design team of two, assisting on multiple projects at once, with projects ranging in size
• Attend design meetings and project reviews to ensure all departments are performing at the correct pace, and to the correct standards
  

The Person:

• Experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experienced in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
