1st Line Support Engineers X3

Overview
A well known council based in London is seeking to recruit X3 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineers to start asap for initial 3 month contracts at £200/day, 5 days fully on site in London, 36 hours per week.Responsibilities
Setting up and installing laptops, ensuring inventory is tracked and old devices are retrievedInstalling operating systems and business applications, configuring VPN (F5), OneDrive sync, mapped drives, and user shortcutsEnsuring systems function correctly and resolving issues during deploymentPreparing rooms, guiding users, and managing session logisticsProviding real-time assistance and answering user queries during setupMaintaining detailed records of deployment activities and issue resolutionHandling complex technical issues beyond 1st/2nd line capabilitiesCollaborating with internal and external teams to meet project requirements, including accessibility and specialist applicationsWorking closely with PMs, support officers, and other engineersEngaging with council leads, vendors, and service desk teamsRequirements
Experience of supporting Windows 11 laptopsExcellent customer facing skills and presentation skills for deployment sessionsAbility to work well under high-profile project conditionsAvailability to start immediately and commit to 5 days on sitePlease apply today.
