The pupil has Autism. Key responsibilitiesProvide 1:1 support during lessons, playtime and activities.Assist the student with all aspects of class work and learning, including breaking down of instructions and help maintaining focus.Use simple, structured strategies to support communication and emotional regulation.Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to plan and review progress.Encourage independence and celebrate small steps of growth.Keep clear and supportive notes about learning and behaviour when needed.
