Overview Anestablished food manufacturing business is looking to appoint a QHSE Officer to support its site operations. This role is key to maintaining a safe working environment while ensuring compliance with all Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety legislation. This is an excellent opportunity for a QHSE Advisor or similar professional looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced, multi-site (factory and farm) environment. Role Reporting into the senior team, the QHSE Officer will play a central role in developing, maintaining, and improving health, safety, environmental, and quality systems across the business. You will work closely with both factory and farm teams to identify risks, drive compliance, and champion a positive safety and food safety culture. Key responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining Health and Safety and Environmental systems, processes, and risk assessments Leading engagement with external HSE and environmental agencies, as well as supporting customer and QMS audits Supporting the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures Working with senior leadership to define and monitor HSE KPIs Providing clear, accurate, and practical HSE advice across the business Producing monthly QHSE reports, analysing trends, and driving continuous improvement initiatives Delivering HSE inductions and ongoing training to employees Leading safety committee meetings, including preparation of presentations and minutes
