We re seeking an experienced CNC Machinist 3-Axis CNC Lathe Setter/Operator to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes, producing precision components from technical drawings and work instructions.Key Responsibilities Prepare for machining by reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work orders, drawings, and parts lists.Set up CNC lathes (3-axis) and, where authorised, create or modify CNC programs.Machine components including rods and cylinders, inspecting raw materials for defects prior to use.Carry out in-process and final inspections in line with company quality procedures.Obtain First-Off approvals as per internal policy.Maintain accurate records including batch cards, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.Perform routine preventative maintenance and report any equipment issues.Ensure work area and equipment are kept clean, safe, and compliant with HSE procedures.Work independently and proactively, following all relevant SOPs, quality standards, and risk assessments.Undertake any training necessary for the role and contribute to continuous personal and professional development.
