Job Title : Power press setter / Supervisor Location: Coventry (Own transport required due to site location) Salary: £15-16 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (Day shifts) About the Role:A well-established manufacturer of precision-engineered components in Coventry is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience in press shop operations, industrial power presses, and production management is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Production Controller to meet business needs. Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality. Manage raw materials, consumables, and supplier call-offs for production and warehouse areas. Ensure adherence to company quality standards and compliance with industry regulations. Investigate and resolve production-related issues effectively. Support machine setup, operation, calibration, and maintenance. Organize repairs and upkeep of plant, equipment, and facilities. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Provide leadership in workforce planning, ensuring adequate coverage during absences.
