Handling all import and export sea freight operational aspects/queries from Customer, liaising with both external and internal customers and suppliers.Ensuring customers receive the very best service at all times, in line with agreed SOPs, and to ensure a smooth and efficient movement of goods to the Customer.Financial/Commercial Make Payments to the shipping lines Ensuring files are fully costed and profitable Raising invoices to customersOperational Check that the shipping documents are present/in order Liaise with shipping lines/overseas agents and other forwarding agents Ensuring any queries are resolved as soon as possible Check the options re releases (Line Haul/Merchant Haul/Rail/Road) Arrange releases, PIN numbers and restitution Providing prompt and professional Customer Service to all clients General Administration Telephone work
