Salary - £70,000 - £80,000 DOE + Car

With an expanding portfolio and ambitious growth plans, our client is looking for a strategic and commercially-minded Head of Procurement to lead their procurement function and drive operational excellence across our supply chain.
The Role
As Head of Procurement, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing procurement strategies that support the delivery of multi-million-pound development projects. Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead procurement across construction, facilities, professional services, and indirect categories, ensuring value for money, compliance, and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the company’s end-to-end procurement strategy in line with commercial goals.
- Oversee procurement activities for construction materials, subcontractors, professional consultants, and indirect spend.
- Build and manage relationships with key suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations and contract management to ensure optimal terms and risk mitigation.
- Implement systems, processes, and KPIs to improve procurement efficiency and transparency.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all procurement activities.
- Lead and grow a high-performing procurement team.
About You
- Proven experience in a senior procurement role, ideally within property development, construction, or real estate.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Track record of delivering cost savings and supply chain improvements.
- Deep understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT/NEC), tendering, and procurement law.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- MCIPS qualification or equivalent (desirable).
